The BGS Technic 74560 Twist Socket Set / Screw Extractor is a versatile 32-piece professional tool set designed for removing screws and nuts with damaged, worn or defective drive heads. The set combines spiral-profile extractor sockets in both metric and inch sizes, providing a practical solution for workshop, automotive repair, maintenance and mechanical applications.
The extractor sockets feature conically shaped cutting edges and sharp helical grooves. These grooves bite into damaged or seized screw and nut surfaces, helping provide a secure grip and allowing the fastener to be loosened effectively.
The set includes extractors for 6.3 mm (1/4") and 10 mm (3/8") drives, along with hardened adapters for use with suitable power tools and a 7 × 90 mm punch tool for removing damaged fasteners from the extractor socket.
