The BGS Technic 2229 is a comprehensive professional socket and bit set designed for mechanics, automotive workshops, service technicians and demanding DIY users.
The set uses a 10 mm (3/8") drive system and combines standard Super Lock/wave-profile sockets, deep sockets and a variety of bit sockets. This combination provides flexibility for everyday fastening applications as well as work in confined or difficult-to-access areas.
The set includes a 90-tooth fine-tooth reversible ratchet with quick-release function, allowing fast socket changes and convenient operation where working space is limited. Extensions, a sliding handle and universal joint provide additional reach and flexibility.
The sockets, extensions, universal joint and ratchet are manufactured from Chrome Vanadium Steel, while the bit sockets use Chrome Vanadium Steel (S2). The complete assortment is stored in a durable blow-moulded plastic case for organised transportation and storage.
