The BGS Technic 74630 Thread Tap with Guide Bolt is a professional thread-repair tool designed for M12 × 1.25 sensor threads. It is particularly suitable for recutting and cleaning damaged or rusted threads found on temperature sensors, NOx sensors and particulate-filter sensors in vehicle exhaust systems.
The integrated guide bolt helps provide accurate centering, while the six cutting edges support smooth and controlled thread restoration. Cleaning grooves in the guide bolt help remove debris during operation.
Its short, compact design makes the tool especially useful when working in restricted or difficult-to-access areas. The special coating also supports smooth sliding during use.
